DPDP Act 2023 · Section 10

Grievance Officer

If you have a concern about how Vital Sense handles your personal data — how we collect it, use it, share it, or delete it — you can raise it with our Grievance Officer. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, this is your right, and we publish this contact so you always know where to reach us.

Within 30 days of receiving your written grievance

When to reach out

The Grievance Officer is the right person to contact when you want to:

  • Ask for a copy, correction, or deletion of your personal data (you can also do these directly from Account Settings)
  • Withdraw a consent you gave earlier
  • Complain about how a Vital Sense feature, employee, or vendor has handled your data
  • Ask questions about the processing of health data belonging to a minor family profile you manage
  • Report a suspected data breach, unauthorised access, or lost account

What to include in your message

  • The email address on your Vital Sense account
  • A brief description of the concern and the outcome you want
  • Any relevant dates, screenshots, or reference IDs (e.g. a record id shown in the app)
  • How you’d like us to reach you back — email is default

If we don’t resolve it

If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can escalate to the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational (its contact details will be published at meity.gov.in). We’ll update this page with a direct link as soon as the Board is reachable.
